   I use Ubuntu Linux (a Debian-based distribution) and can confirm
that this also happens for me.

   Until being made aware of your original bug report, I had (wrongly)
assumed that I had caused this to occur through an imperfect system
upgrade (mainly due to the fact that the crash occurs in a GTK+ module).
