Iain & Tommy,

Thanks guys. Somehow, I still have a strange problem. Everything
starts up fine, but I can't get the focus of the xcin window (Root).
So I can't activate the input method. 

I'm running Blackbox, and the focus is following mouse. The xcin window
just shows the english input method. I can call up my emacs editor
to input chinese, but if the built-in editor can handle it, why not?
